Edge Grain Cutting Boards

Edge Grain Cutting Boards are the middle ground of the three types. With the grain standing on edge it is generally more durable and resistant to being damaged by knife cuts and slightly less damaging to the knife blade than flat grain.

Since these boards generally require only one glue up they stand in the middle pricewise.
