One Year In Our My New Woodworking Shop | Shop Tour 2024

It's been a little over a year since I went all in and built a new shop dedicated to woodworking. My previous shops were in a shed, the basement of my first house and finally in the garage at our current home. All of which had to share space with everything from lawn mowers to the laundry room which made a dusty job a little harder to do whenever I needed to.

In 2023, with my 4x4 shop closing down I needed space to move some of that equipment into and we decided that if we were building we might as well go big and finally create a true woodworking shop where I didn't have to share space with anything else and could focus on having a better layout of tools and more room to work.

With that decision made I set out to relocate an old shed and clear some trees behind the garage to make room for the new building. With all that was going on I opted to have someone else put up the metal shell and I would finish the inside when I had time.

It's been a little over a year since the new shop space has come a long way and yet, still has a long way to go. I have added some new (and new to me) equipment and decided I should do a quick tour video while it's still in it's "new" stage so that I could look back later and see just how far it's come.
